Donald Trump really wants to make American great again — but first, he’s trying to make us afraid.

During his acceptance speech Thursday night, the Republican nominee for president (not “presumptive” anymore — as in, we’re actually doing this) cast himself as the savior of a nation beset by crime, undeterred foreign threats and spineless leadership. And then he achieved it not using the trademark unsubtlety and braggadocio that carried him to the convention, but alternatively using language blunted just adequate to make his frightening vision acceptable to voters.

Donald Trump, the Republican front-runner, has reached the base of the list with a sad 9% of true or mostly true statements. Just 9% of this things Donald Trump says are typically pertaining to the truth.

Trump lies a great deal that in 2015, Politifact awarded him the Lie of the season for numerous statements he made, because the team couldn’t select the most egregious lie. Away from 77 statements checked, 76 of these were found to become mostly false to false to pants on fire lies.

Trump Is Horrifying

Featured Image -- 1043A team of historians whose life’s work has consisted of studying the men, women and events that shaped America have banded together to speak out against Donald Trump.

Historians including David McCullough, Ken Burns, Robert Caro, Ron Chernow and Vicki Lynn Ruiz have all posted short videos explaining why Trump’s campaign is disturbing to a Facebook page called “Historians on Donald Trump.”

McCullough contacted Burns to arrange your time and effort after he saw Burns’ commencement speech at Stanford this current year, that was highly critical of Trump. The page was made Wednesday morning.

Republicans are making the effort to embrace Donald Trump, but he is not so it is easy. Just a couple weeks just before the party tactics to coronate Trump as its 2016 standard-bearer along at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the presumptive nominee is staying up the infighting that has troubled the GOP’s establishment for months.

During the past 48 hours, Trump has abandoned decades of conservative orthodoxy on trade, launched into a battle using the GOP’s traditional business lobby allies and campaign financiers — like the Chamber of Commerce — and slammed his former Republican presidential rivals who have not endorsed him, saying their political careers should be over.

“They broke their word also in my view; they must never be permitted to run for public office again because exactly what did was disgraceful,” Trump said in Bangor, Maine, Wednesday, observing figures like Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who signed a pledge to strengthen the GOP nominee but have still to endorse him Kasich, due to his part, on Wednesday, released a note on his campaign fundraising list highlighting a poll showing him faring better on the list of the general election than Trump.

Donald Trump singled out a black supporter for a rally Friday, telling the group to “look his African-American.”

Speaking at an event in Redding, California, Trump condemned the violent protests that had broken out after his campaign rally in San Jose the night before and called the protesters “thugs.” Trump claimed he always tells his supporters to “be very gentle” with demonstrators — despite having frequently encouraged violence at his campaign events.
Trump then started a story about a rally in Tucson, Arizona, the place where a black Trump supporter punched a protester wearing a KKK hood.
“We experienced a case where we had an African-American guy who was a big fan of mine. Great fan. Great guy. The truth is I wish to get to know what’s happening with him,” Trump said, before pointing to a man inside the crowd. “Look at my African-American over here. Examine him. Are you the most? You are aware what I’m talking about? OK.”
“Everyone thought the African-American was against me,” he was quoted saying in regards to the incident with the Tucson rally. “And it was actually the flip side it.”

Trump continued by insinuating that the media has hidden his black supporters.
“We have tremendous African-American support,” he said. “The reason is I’m intending to bring jobs to our country. However when these sleazy people, these dishonest individuals who never show the crowds … And showed that event, it made it appear like the white guy was on my side.”
The presumptive GOP nominee has previously claimed he’ll prosper with black voters in November’s general election. However, a Quinnipiac Poll released today found Hillary Clinton winning 93 percent of a given black vote inside a potential match-up having the business mogul.

If a Person Uses the N-Word, Should The Candidate Disavowed Racist Language?

I realize we have freedom of speech, but using racist language is unprofessional and shows that hidden racism is coming forth and becoming an open problem.

A white supremacist who advocates for Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy most recently bellowed the N-word towards ABC anchor Byron Pitts. Craig Cobb, who is recommended establishing an all-white society given its name Trump, proceeded to go off on Pitts throughout a telephone dialogue immediately after discovering he is African American. The dialogue flipped awful and hideous with Cobb going off on Pitts immediately after the individual mentioned each of them had a pleasurable discussion before Cobb recognized having been African American.
